2022 Ravensworth Shiraz Grenache Mourvèdre, Hilltops Great Southern

Don't imagine winemaker Bryan Martin lets you off easily. This medium-bodied offer takes shiraz from Hilltops blended with (more) shiraz plus grenache and mourvèdre from the large Swinney vineyard in Western Australia's Great Southern (not an easy vintage, although that's not obvious). The fragrant bouquet and fresh zesty palate makes the grenache and mourvèdre, rather than the shiraz, dominant. JH 14% alc.
