2018 Indigo Vineyard Secret Village Shiraz, Beechworth

Brings real presence to the glass, in part, courtesy of five years in bottle. Starting to spread its wings with complex bottle development on show. There's a wildness here, quite intriguing, in bramble, bracken, dried raspberry, black cherry, star anise, leather, jamón and burnt earth. Savoury tannins bring that extra dimension of flavour intensity, working in tandem towards a long, lingering finish. Pretty swish all round. JP 14% alc.
