2022 Vignerons Schmölzer & Brown Pinot Noir, Beechworth

A blend of three Beechworth vineyards. Exudes energy, aromatic lift, intensity and tension. Juicy, too. In other words, it's a terrific example of Beechworth pinot noir. Wears the stamp of bright cherry and red fruits with a gentle herbal edge building to forest floor with an easy hand on the oak. A wellstructured palate, gently peppery, and finishes with some bright acid crunch.

There's plenty to like and enjoy now, but it can also take some age. JP 13% alc.
