2021 Eastern Peake Block 1989 Pinot Noir, Ballarat

Excellent concentration of flavour and overall structure, but it's the length of the finish that sets it apart. This is an excellent pinot noir. Cherry/berry flavours give the wine weight but nuances abound, with citrus peel, cedarwood, dried herb notes and undergrowth characters all making contributions. Structure, presence and length – this wine has it all. Only 22 dozen were released. CM 13.4% alc.
