Impressive concentration, depth and texture are on display here with impeccable pure blackberry and cherry fruits cut with hints of baking spices, licorice, dark chocolate, earth, cedar, vanillin and pressed purple floral top notes. Full bodied yet showing great balance and a sense of grace with a fine tannin framework and plenty of cellar potential. A great release from an excellent vintage. DB 14.5% alc.
