2022 Save Our Souls Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley

Bill Downie knows a thing or two about pinot, and it shows in this nicely complex, savoury and slippery textured wine. Dark plum, maraschino cherry and orange peel aromas intermingle with spice and damp earth notes. Medium bodied, this has both good depth and energy, and there's enough gently sinewy tannins to suggest this will continue to improve over the next three to four years. PR 13.2% alc.
