2023 Freycinet Vineyard Schönburger, Tasmania

You don't see a lot of schönburger in Australia. It makes a wonderfully perfumed wine, citrusy with heady floral aromas of rose petal, musk lollies, pressed wildflowers, Turkish delight and soft spicy nuance. In this case it's slinky, supple and vivid with tight, minerally acidity and a perfumed vapour trail that slowly fades on the exit. DB 12% alc.
