2023 Flametree Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Margaret River

Well, this comes across as rather classy. Nothing overt, just a core of juicy, zesty fruit – more citrus than tropical – with a hint of fresh basil and an attractive wet stone character. Talc-like texture to the acidity and there’s a daub of creaminess, too, which builds some volume to an otherwise tight and bright wine. Refreshingly drinkable. JF 12.5% alc.
