2019 THOMAS WINES SWEETWATER SHIRAZ

This vineyard always imparts verve and a thirst-quenching crunch to its wines: this is firmly marked. A boysenberry creaminess to the aroma. Less floral and iodine-lifted. Black olive and some salami smokiness. Yet the tannins run across the palate with detailed precision, not binding the wine too tightly. Long and compelling. NG 14% alc.
