2014 MR RIGGS WINE COMPANY THE CHAP SHIRAZ CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Malty oak scents. Cedar, leaf, licorice and cigar box, too. Dark plum. Asian spice. There is an umami breadth to this, imparted by a bit of bottle age. The tannins are resolving nicely, yet with plenty of strength and sinew left to carry this to a rewarding maturity. NG 14.5% alc.
