2019 MORDRELLE BASKET PRESS LANGHORNE CREEK SHIRAZ

Fruit from a single vineyard, traditionally made, 15 months in oak. Amazingly intense royal purple colour in the glass. The oak appears first on the nose. There’s a heap going on here with dark fruits and berries, a fabulous shot of licorice and further spices through the palate. It’s all held in place by the tannins, presentable yet pliable. Intense yet with an artisan touch. TL 14.5% alc.
