2019 KNAPPSTEIN MAYORS VINEYARD CLARE VALLEY SHIRAZ

After a three-year hiatus (the last vintage was 2015) the Mayor’s back. An abundance of flavour has been packed into this, highlighting its unique regional tones. Accents of black fruits infused with dark chocolate and mint, plus lots of earthy elements such as twigs and Aussie bush. Full bodied, masses of tannin and it’s not shy. Yet It’s still finding its way – very youthful and primary, bold and sassy. JF 14.5% alc.
