Low-yielding old-vine shiraz with a little (less than 5%) grenache added. 18 months maturation in oak (70% new French). One for the cellar. Resplendent in a rich coat of cedar mocha-chocolate with pronounced, sturdy tannins. Black fruits, earth, high spice, licorice, with warm texture; it should meld and settle down with time. JP 13.8% alc.
