People talk about wine being made in the vineyard, and to a certain extent, this is true. But when you put good fruit in the hands of talented craftspeople, you get this. Exotic spices imbue the nose with a density and seriousness, the fruit on the palate lives up to that expectation too. Serious, structural, concentrated and long – bitter chocolate laces the finish.
